About Us
Becca Johnson, LPC
Are you feeling like a part of yourself has drifted away—or maybe has never been fully seen? If the weight of anxiety, self-doubt, or old wounds feels familiar, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.
I’m Becca, a Licensed Professional Counselor. In my work with children, teens, and adults, I create a safe, welcoming space to explore who you are beneath expectations and old stories—what feels heavy, what brings ease, and what quietly calls for your attention. My approach is grounded in curiosity and deep listening, drawing from attachment theory, polyvagal wisdom, and expressive arts. I take a person-centered, attuned approach—meeting you where you are and helping you reconnect with your own inner resources.
With children, this often unfolds through art and play in a space filled with toys, art materials, and creative tools that let their inner world come to life. Play-based therapy helps children develop self-expression and communication, practice creative problem solving, strengthen self-esteem and empathy, and learn tools for managing stress and big emotions in ways that feel natural and safe.
With adults and teens, I often help untangle relationship patterns, build self-compassion, and explore practical tools for navigating stress, anxiety, or past trauma. Together, we’ll work to understand how your nervous system, emotions, and experiences shape your story—and create new ways of moving forward with greater clarity and ease.
Being human is complicated, messy, and sometimes painful—but you don’t have to go through it alone. My role is to offer empathy and nonjudgmental support as you (or your child) rediscover strengths, heal from past wounds, and step more fully into your authentic self.
Beneath the noise, there’s a steady part of you waiting to be heard.
David Grozinsky, Mental Health THERAPIST
Hi, I’m David, a therapist at Centered Space, where I work with teens, adults, and couples. My approach is rooted in humor, warmth, and deep compassion. I believe that even our most unhelpful patterns are survival strategies—ways our nervous system has worked to keep us safe. By slowing down and pausing together, we can invite curiosity instead of judgment, honoring the wisdom in your defenses while discovering new strategies that align with your best self.
I’m especially drawn to Polyvagal Theory, which gives language and validation to the nervous system’s most challenging reactions. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, old wounds, or relational struggles, I’ll help you uncover the strength you already carry inside, while building practical tools to move through stress with more clarity, calm, and confidence.
In my work with couples, I help partners step out of reactive cycles and into deeper understanding. Maybe you’ve been circling the same arguments, or maybe silence and distance have settled in. Together, we’ll slow down, listen with new openness, and untangle the patterns keeping you apart. My role is to create a safe, collaborative space where trust and connection can be rebuilt at a pace that feels right for both of you.
Being human is complex—sometimes tender, sometimes overwhelming—and it takes courage to face the places that hurt. Healing begins when we slow down enough to listen, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. At Centered Space, I hope to offer just that: a place to return to your core, honor your resilience, and step into the life and relationships you long for.
