Welcome to Centered Space Counseling

We believe that the environment where therapy takes place is part of the therapeutic experience. That's why we've been intentional about creating a space that feels comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for children, teens, adults, couples, and families.

The practice is located in a lovingly renovated circa 1900 farmhouse. We have private parking, accessible facilities, and spaces designed to support everything from quiet, individual conversations to creative play and family work.

Located on Route 340 between Harpers Ferry and Charles Town, Centered Space Counseling is easily accessible from throughout the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, Northern Virginia, and the greater Frederick, Maryland area.

We designed our waiting room to feel calm and welcoming, with comfortable seating, lots of plants, a tea station, and a small play area for children.

Each therapy room has been designed to feel warm, comfortable, and inviting. Whether you're here for individual, couples, or family therapy, we hope you'll be able to settle in, feel at ease, and focus on what you really need.

The back cottage is a flexible space designed to support many different ways of doing therapy. The cottage serves as a play therapy space for children, a creative studio for teens, and a comfortable living-room-style setting for adult sessions—offering room for conversation, creativity, and self-expression to unfold naturally.
